The South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business (SCJILB) is now accepting submissions for Volume 22, Issues 1 and 2.

SCJILB is a student-edited publication housed at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law. Our mission is to promote scholarship that explores the dynamic interplay between international legal frameworks and global commerce. In the past year alone, SCJILB has achieved 22,683 downloads worldwide, reflecting our commitment to meaningful, globally impactful scholarship.

We welcome submissions from legal scholars, practitioners, and professionals that address topics such as (but not limited to):
  • International trade and finance
  • Cross-border mergers and acquisitions
  • Global corporate governance
  • International dispute resolution
  • ESG and sustainability in international business
  • Comparative commercial law and regulation
Submission Guidelines:
When selecting a submission for publication, SCJILB considers its originality, meaningfulness, and thoroughness. Submissions must:
  • Be in Microsoft Word format, double-spaced, with numbered pages
  • Contain footnotes conforming to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st ed. 2020)
  • Follow the Texas Law Review Manual on Usage & Style
  • Be thoroughly proofread and properly formatted
